The demonstration against the CPS in Oslo 13 Dec 2013

Below is a translation of placards etc and of a few words I could hear in the YouTube video, adding a very few comments of my own:


The still pictures have obviously been taken at different points in the demonstration. The handing over of a file probably took place outside the ministry; at 3:51 and 3:58 they are outside Parliament (Stortinget). The mounted police evidently escorted the demonstration.

The title (at time 0:06) says:

The person who received the file with signatures etc (my guess is he probably was the "statssekretær", meaning the under-secretary of state, the next in command under the minister, i.e a politician, although he may alternatively have been a bureaucrat in the ministry concerned) said thank you very much, assured them that what they wanted was in the process of being done already, and he mentioned "utdannelse" (education), i.e they want social workers to have more schooling.
(-- Whether this will help any if it means more of the same sort, or will only add to their status as "experts", is a question which obviously springs to mind. Another is the matter of the composition of any investigative body, the time-span and end product in the form of a report, and whether such a report will result in any positive action being taken. Previous investigations and evaluations have not done so.)
